Amanda Burr, MS, CCC-SLP

Amanda Burr, M.S., CCC-SLP is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She earned her bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in 2010 and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Utah in 2012.

Amanda brings over fourteen years of experience working with pediatric populations. She believes it is her role as a speech-language pathologist to foster, encourage, and support each client by building on the strengths they already carry. Amanda values collaborative partnerships with parents and caregivers and enjoys working as part of a team to support children who are already communicating, whether through words, gestures, eye gaze, or emerging systems, and helping shape those skills for meaningful communication in everyday life.

Amanda is deeply responsive to her clients and believes therapy is a reciprocal process: she learns from the children and families she works with and allows that learning to guide her clinical approach. She brings curiosity, flexibility, and a commitment to continued growth into every session.

Her areas of expertise include early intervention, language delay and disorder, gestalt language processing, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), articulation and phonological disorders, and social communication.
