Goal Pediatric Orthotics (GPO) has been providing custom orthotic devices for the special needs children of Utah since fall 2018. First of its kind in Utah, GPO uses a mobile clinic tailored to meet the special needs of pediatric patients and their families. GPO’s model includes meeting together with the therapist and the family of the patient in a comfortable and convenient location, most often at therapy or at home. GPO believes strongly that when everyone works together the compliance and outcome is drastically improved.

Pinyon Montessori is a new non-profit micro school serving 3-12 year olds opening fall of 2023 in Salt Lake City.
Pinyon Montessori is a neighborhood-nested school committed to working in partnership with the surrounding community to create an environment that is healthier for all. The program is founded on the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori, which emphasize independence, freedom within limits, and respect for the natural development of the child. The curriculum is a child-centered, experiential approach to learning and uses specialized Montessori manipulatives. She created the Early Intervention Tutorials, an online program, to help parents receive training to get a jumpstart on their child’s early intervention in the home. Educational play is the key to all of our learning here, and the research supports our stance that play is how very young children learn best! Therefore, the curriculum is all based in playful interactions, hands-on learning, child-directed discovery, experiments, projects and letting children make mistakes!
Puppet shows, Spanish lessons, music classes, and field trips are all offered on a regular basis to enrich the child’s early experiences. Teachers use their creative skills and knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practice to write their lesson plans each month.
